 MAC - setting up your Video to DVD maker on a MAC

1. Insert the driver disc into the MAC

2. Double click the ‘MAC OS’ folder

3. Double click the file ‘EMPIA 1.0.0b18.pkg’ file and follow the on screen instructions

4. Restart your MAC when the drivers have finished installing

5. To capture video go to ‘APPLICATIONS’ then ‘EMPIA CAPTURE’, double click the ‘EMPIA CAPTURE’ icon

6. Go to ‘DIGITIZERS’ and select ‘EMPIA’ to select the DVD Maker as the main capture device

7. Click ‘RECORD’ then ‘VIDEO SETTINGS’ to choose different capture formats

8. Click ‘RECORD’ then ‘SOUND SETTINGS’ then click the ‘SOURCE’ tab and select ‘USB 2861 DEVICE’ for

audio capture

9. When you have finished capturing your video you can use iMovie to import the captured video for editing and DVD creation
