Details Kaiser Baas products & Windows 7 compatibility

Dear customers, with the impending release of Windows 7 later this month, the following Kaiser Baas products have been tested with the final release of Windows 7 -


Photo Maker – tested and working, no updates required


Video To DVD Maker – tested and working, no updates required


Music Maker (coming soon) – tested and working, no updates required


TV Tuner range – The Power Cinema 5 software does not detect the TV tuner connected however as a workaround the TV tuner is compatible with the Media Centre software that is included with Windows 7 to view TV. Remote control also tested and working with the Media Centre software. We will have a Media Centre install guide on our support site shortly. The Vista 64bit drivers currently available for download have been tested with Windows 7 64bit edition and are fully working.


1.5 Photo Frame - Units with V3.8.2.9 and V5.0.2.1 software preinstalled tested and working, no updates required. Units that have software earlier than V3.8.2.9 will not work and the later software will not work on those units


K1000 Media Player – The manufacturer is currently working on a software update (to be installed on the PC) so you can stream media files from a PC with Windows 7 installed. Once the update has been released this will be available on our support site
